Amal is a proud alumna of the University of Florida, and a dedicated professional with experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and strategic partnership cultivation. As the Director of Development at Kid Spark Education, Amal plays a pivotal role in driving the organization's mission to close educational equity gaps by securing partnerships aimed at increasing access to STEM education for children across the country. She helps lead the organization's fund development strategy, overseeing grant-seeking, partnership-building, and donor relations.

Before her role at Kid Spark Education, Amal worked in the international humanitarian aid space for an organization dedicated to protecting the rights of refugees and asylum seekers. She has also worked in the homelessness services sector, where she managed donor databases, coordinated in-kind donations, and established key partnerships that provided essential resources to individuals transitioning out of homelessness. Throughout her career, Amal has demonstrated a strong commitment to social justice and equity, consistently driving initiatives that uplift vulnerable communities. Her multifaceted experience across nonprofit sectors underscores her expertise in advancing the missions of organizations dedicated to creating meaningful change.
