Fort Lauderdale, Florida – September 9, 2024 – Kid Spark Education and Bridgestone partner to bring STEM learning opportunities to Dillard Elementary School 

Firestone, through its parent company, Bridgestone has provided a $10,000 grant to Kid Spark Education at the start of the NNT Indycar series season in honor of the late Gil De Ferran, a beloved INDYcar driver. This grant will be directed toward providing STEM Education to the students of Dillard Elementary School, where Gil and his wife volunteered for years.

Since the announcement of the gift in March of 2024, Kid Spark Education has worked closely with Dillard Elementary School to implement a tailored STEM curriculum aimed at providing students with hands-on learning experiences that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

The impact of this grant will extend beyond the classroom, contributing to the development of a future workforce that is well-equipped to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving technological landscape.
